Purpose: The purpose of the Associate / Sr. Associate / Principal Associate, Data Informaticist Medicines Quality Organization (MQO) role is to guide the business in the implementation and use of technical solutions to ensure Lilly effectively monitors Quality risks across the pharmaceutical research & development organization, ensuring regulatory compliance. This role actively integrates people, processes, and technology to manage and use information effectively.
This role will collaborate with members of the MQO team, as well as functional leaders, and subject matter experts across Regulatory, Global Patient Safety, Clinical Design, Delivery and Analytics (CDDA), Quality, Learning & Development, and Information and Digital Solutions (IDS). Based on the situation, this role will be responsible for the implementation of quality initiatives.
Primary Responsibilities
Accountable for the rollout/implementation of the quality monitoring technical solutions to ensure compliance, identify quality risks, and monitor the rate of success of historically implemented risk mitigation initiatives.
Uses broad understanding of pharmaceutical research & development to identify quality risks and innovates solutions to continuously improve programmatic monitoring capabilities.
Integrates across functions to maintain knowledge of current events, understand trends, and gain connection with business partners.
Works with management and functional teams to resolve complex issues.
Tests data reports, dashboards and analytics in a manner that allows for seamless downstream consumption, standardization, and integration of data.
Collaborates with data experts and key stakeholders to deliver dashboards and innovative analytic solutions.
Shares key learning's to drive simplification and replicate best practices, drives quality into the business.
Manages digital asset inventory across the organization.
Acts as quality expert consultant to the business and external parties. Builds relationships with internal and external customers and partners. Manages operational issues and supports technical issue resolution.
Works closely with MQO Systems, Training, Business Process Management, and other areas to ensure there is awareness of systematic issues and compliance concerns. Works within a cross-functional team to develop effective systems and processes.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree - Preferred degree in data analysis, analytics, informatics, life sciences, or equivalent
Additional Preferences:
Advanced degrees preferred
Experience in data sciences, data analysis, clinical development and/or quality
Solid understanding of quality systems.
Outstanding learning agility and technical aptitude.
Ability to communicate complex data integration concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Familiarity with MS Power Platform components such as Power Apps and Power BI, and the ability to integrate them seamlessly using Power Automate.
Demonstrated understanding of quality management system principles, including policies, procedures, and processes.
Skilled in translating complex data and concepts to broad audiences
Prior experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry, specifically in clinical development, is a strong asset.
Demonstrated ability to operate within large global organizations.
Additional Information:
10% travel may be required.

Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is
$63,000 - $140,800
Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
