Your missions Analyze large-scale consumer data including e-commerce transactions, app usage, and IoT machine data. Build and deploy predictive models for product scoring, churn prediction, and personalization. Develop business-oriented metrics such as product scores and probability calibration. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and propose data science solutions. Design and implement Proofs of Concept (PoCs) and Minimum Viable Products (MVPs), and scale successful models. Communicate insights and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences. Support analytics applications and dashboards for business use. Your profile Experience with Python for data science and machine learning. Experience with ML/AI algorithms, probability calibration, and model evaluation techniques. Experience with statistical analysis and large-scale data manipulation. Experience with e-commerce, consumer analytics, or IoT data. Academic background: engineering schools or equivalent. Fluent English and Japanese. With limited oversight, completes assigned deliverables and draws insights from data to make quick, well-informed decisions with available information from disparate sources. Partners with other colleagues on the Data & Enablement team, coaching and reviewing work produced. Uses judgement to develop solutions that achieve desired results. Demonstrates ability to continuously learn and provide value in a dynamic environment. Helps with overseeing work of the Associate Data Scientists, providing training and guidance. Additional skills and competencies required: Strong business acumen with the ability to communicate with both business and Information Technology (IT) leaders. Advanced knowledge and understanding of statistical and predictive modeling concepts, machine learning approaches, clustering and classification techniques, and recommendation and optimization algorithms. Familiar with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, Snowflake or GCP. Advanced Python, SQL skills. Strong proficiency in visualization tools like Power Business Intelligence (BI), Tableau. Effective communication skills through data visualizations, written and oral presentations. Team leading and mentorship and Project Management experience. Education: Quantitative, Analytical, STEM fields with 5-6 years’ of data science related experience. OR Ph.D. in Quantitative, Analytical, STEM fields with up to 2 years’ of experience. Required Experience: 5-6 years experience Quantitative, Analytical, STEM fields required. 5-6 years experience Machine Learning, Deep Learning, or Artificial Intelligence required. 5-6 years experience Programming experience in Python, PySpark, R, or Scala required.
