Position Overview:
As an experienced and visionary leader who will serve as the Global Vice President of Data, Analytics, and Artificial Intelligence (AI), you will be responsible for defining and executing a data and AI strategy that supports the entire organization, spanning corporate, operational, and customer-facing functions. A significant emphasis will be placed on driving transformational improvements within biopharmaceutical manufacturing operations, leveraging advanced analytics and AI tools to optimize production processes, enhance product quality, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will combine deep expertise in enterprise-wide data strategy with practical knowledge of AI applications in manufacturing, supply chain, and other corporate functions, positioning the company as an industry leader in digital innovation.

Job Description:
Principal Accountabilities
This role will have between 5 & 7 direct reports and will report directly into the Senior Vice President of Global Information& Digital Technology
To serve as the key advisor to the C-suite on data and AI trends, emerging technologies, and their potential
impact on the company’s strategy
Develop and execute an enterprise-wide strategy for data, analytics, and AI to drive business transformation,
innovation, and operational excellence across all functions.
Lead the application of data and AI to improve biopharma manufacturing operations, including predictive
maintenance, process optimization, and AI-powered quality control.
Oversee integration of data from systems like MES, LIMS, ERP for real-time monitoring and advanced
analytics.
Champion AI adoption to optimize business functions like customer experience, financial planning, and supply chain operations
Evaluate and deploy scalable AI technologies, ensuring alignment with ethical AI practices
Establish data governance frameworks for quality, integrity, and security.
Develop robust data architectures and create KPIs to measure impact
Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and identify risks in AI deployment.

Minimum Education
Master of Science (M.Sc.) with 13+ years of experience; OR
Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) with 15+ years of experience; OR
Associate degree with 16+ years of experience;
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
12+ years of team management experience
Demonstrated success in creation of data and AI solutions within biopharmaceutical settings.
Strategic thinker with expertise in enterprise data architectures and AI frameworks.
Strong analytical skills and experience in transformative digital initiatives.
Rapid decision making ability to maintain alignment with the company's strategic direction
Exercises considerable discretion over budget allocation with the function
